It's all digital, PDFs mostly. You download them and print what you need. They don't ship physical books.

Just PDFs. I usually print out the main lesson blocks and bind them myself. Saves on shipping and I can just print pages as needed for activities.

Nah, it's a legit one-time thing. You buy it and you get everything, all the updates too. I got mine like 3 years ago and haven't paid anything else.

They usually have sales around August/September for back to school, and then again in November for Black Friday. Sometimes January too. You could probably catch 10-25% off during those times.

Is this Institute thing, like, recognized as a legitimate Waldorf program? Or is it more of a loose inspiration?

They've been around since '94 and are pretty well known in the Waldorf homeschooling community. It's not like an official AWSNA school, but it's a solid, respected curriculum.

They are considered very legitimate for homeschooling. Award-winning even. Doesn't have the same accreditation as a physical Waldorf school, but that's typical for homeschool curricula.

For digital products, refunds are usually not an option. That's pretty standard for most online curriculum providers since you get immediate access to the files.

Yeah, generally with digital downloads, once you've got 'em, they're yours. Best to check out their samples or ask specific questions before you buy, but a refund for digital isn't usually a thing there.

Earthschooling is more straight-up Waldorf-inspired, less 'eclectic' than Oak Meadow. Oak Meadow has more structure in some ways but I found Earthschooling's content richer for true Waldorf method.

Different vibes for sure. Earthschooling feels more rooted in the classic Waldorf approach, while Oak Meadow is a bit more flexible maybe. Depends on what you're looking for, I guess.
